My first BKT
Since we cannot get what we like, let us like what we can get.
Sit a beggar at your table and he will soon put his feet on it.
Six hours' sleep for a man, seven for a woman and eight for a fool.
Small children give you headache; big children heartache.
Some people are masters of money, and some its slaves.
Went to Waterways this morning to help out with the CIP for police cadets.
Auntie Annie, Felix, Eugene, Jo, Ler, Ah Hong and Yilinn were there too.
Apparently all the cadets who went today are scholars and they are all going to be big shots in the Police one day…
Some were very enthusiastic while others had a rather sickening fatalistic attitude towards the activities that had been planned for them… don think I wanna comment further…
Yilinn and I supervised the cadets as they did their beach clean ups and were on the bikes half the time for the sake of getting things done at a quicker pace… haha :)
Found two dead fish, a dead bird and a dead kitten... too bad I could not give them a proper grave...
When the second crew were due back from the river patrol we got a scare when Annie said that Ler’s boat ran out of fuel… so I volunteered to go with Jo to go and see what became of them…
The moment I got into the boat, the other boat came into view! O.olll
All was not lost!
I got permission to take the boat for a spin and practice for about an hour with Jo, who is a boat instructor and examiner. Heh~
Thanks a bunch Jo! :D
My first time eating ba ku teh today… haha… it was nice… maybe one day I will go back there and eat again… haha… went around SMU and to YMCA with Yilinn to look look see see and pass some stuff to Kian Peng before making my way home.
Not going for SIM training today, but I will confirm go to Kovan to kick those targets… haha… damn do I miss training…
Need to take a nap man… not enough sleep… later~
^-^
